Danio rerio: larval stage

Bisphenol-A and Valproate Toxin Model of Autism in Danio rerio

Study seeks to advance the development of a zebrafish model of Autism using toxin exposure - specifically Bisphenol-A (BPA) and Valproic Acid (VPA) - to identify dysfunctional phenotypes of Autism in zebrafish which can then be extrapolated to humans. This includes phenotyping anatomical, physiological, and social behaviors observed in humans with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Associative Learning in Danio rerio

Projects aims to identify associative forms of memory in larval zebrafish in order to further develop understating of memory formation. This would provide behavior assays for use in zebrafish models of various human neurological and psychological conditions.

The goal is to discover classical and operant conditioning procedures in larval zebrafish via differential visual stimuli serving as the conditioned and discriminating stimuli.

Organization of eating in rats selectively bred on a saccharin preference phenotype

Aim of this study is to investigate meal patterning of LoS and HiS lines to establish its utility – and of selectively bred lines in general – in delineating when phenotypic variation is confined to the feeding domain and when it bridges behavioral domains.
